Information requests

What is it?

Requests let you receive information from someone without the need for them to have a NoteShred account. Think of it like creating a blank note and asking someone else to fill it in for you. For example, say you needed a customer's login details, but they do not have a NoteShred account. You can send them a "request", which works much like a regular note except that they fill in the contents for you.

Simply create a request and enter the person's email address and a message detailing what information you need. Send them the password and ask them to fill in the information on the request page. You'll be notified once they have completed your request, after which you can access the note as you would any other note.
